Stories of Hope -- Natalie from Wilmington, NC

Elementary school teacher Natalie M. of Wilmington, N.C., has always been a firm believer in the idea that the best way to teach a lesson is by example.  Now she’s a walking, talking poster child for the concept.

She enrolled in the COR Retreat Food Recovery Program to get the help she needs to lose 100 pounds. “I want to be a good role model for my students,” she said.

At the Retreat, Natalie learned how to look at her food history and how it has affected her life. She also found the love and support she needed to finally stick with a diet program. “I really liked the fact that at the COR Retreat, the focus was on what each individual person needed. People were supportive, not judging,” she said.
